Welcome, I am Pastor Ken Beauchene!
After working in the grocery business for 25 years in Colorado Springs, CO., both my wife and I were called by Jesus Christ as missionaries to the Republic of Georgia in 1993-94, as Christian Educators for a school year. We both returned two years later as Salvation Army Officers (Ordained Ministers) to the Republic of Georgia (former Soviet Republic) USSR for two more years of service as missionaries. Upon returning to the states, we were stationed in Laramie, WY as Army Officers. We were there for five years. then I transferred my credentials to the Assemblies of God in 2003. My wife and I began to look for a place to pastor, and felt we were called to Torrington, Wyoming. I am an Ordained Minister for the Assemblies of God. Just recently, I have received Assembly of God Endorsement as a Hospital and College Chaplain. I work as second and third vocations to the community as the Chaplain at Torrington Community Hospital and in Campus Ministries as a chaplain at EWC (Eastern Wyoming College). We have served the Lord in Torrington since June of 2003.
MY PERSONAL STATEMENT OF FAITH
About God:
I believe that there is one living and true God, eternally existing in three persons; the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. I believe in God the Father; infinite and personal, perfect in holiness, wisdom, power and love; that He hears and answers prayer; that He accepts all who come to Him through the blood of Jesus Christ.
I believe in Jesus Christ, the eternal and only Son of God; in His virgin birth, His sinless life, in His miracles, in His substitutionary atoning death, in His bodily resurrection, in His perpetual intercession for His people, and in His personal visible return to earth.
I believe in the Holy Spirit and His present day ministry: convicting the world of sin, righteousness and judgment, His indwelling presence which enables the believer to live a godly life, manifesting the Fruit of the Spirit, and The Baptism in the Holy Spirit and the exercise of all the Biblical Gifts of the Spirit.
About The Bible:
I believe that the scriptures of the Old and New Testaments are the word of God, fully inspired and without error in the original manuscripts. It is the final authority for doctrinal truth.
About Man:
I believe that all men have sinned and are under condemnation. I believe that salvation comes only through the regeneration of the Holy Spirit as one repents of sin and confesses Jesus Christ as Lord. And I believe that man is saved by grace through faith, not as a result of good works or human efforts.
About the Church:
I believe in the universal church, the living spiritual Body, of which Christ is the Head and all regenerated persons are members. I believe in two ordinances which Jesus Christ committed to the Church; Water baptism, by complete immersion in the name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit, into the Name of God, the Lord Jesus Christ and The Lord’s Supper, the communion of the Lord’s Table, open to all believers.

Motivating the Right Person into the Right Ministry
One of the greatest challenges for most leaders is selecting and motivating the right people into the right ministry positions in hopes of minimizing turnover and frustration. Even in the smaller church with limited personnel, it is important to coordinate people and ministry as much as possible.

“I TRIED, BUT NO ONE EVER CALLED ME”
“I tried, but no one ever called me” are painful words for a leader who has much work to do and not enough people willing to do it. These words are painful for the person who wanted to contribute, but was never called. These are also painful words for a person who is committed to helping people connect and contribute in meaningful ways within the church.
